Departing from Quito at 5:30 AM, we head to Yanacocha Reserve, known for its Tawny and Rufous Antpittas, as well as other bird species like Chestnut-crowned Antpitta and Ocellated Tapaculo. Along the 2 km Inca trail, we'll encounter various bird flocks and hummingbird feeders, attracting species like superciliaried Hemispingus and sword-billed hummingbirds. Lunch at the reserve precedes our journey along the historic Nono-Mindo Road towards Bellavista Lodge

Canandé Reserve, managed by Fundación Jocotoco, protects this endangered hotspot

Today's journey leads to Chakana Reserve amidst stunning Ecuadorian High Andes landscapes. Adjacent to Antisana National Park, the reserve offers breathtaking vistas and diverse birdlife, including Andean Condors, Giant Hummingbirds, Ecuadorian Hillstars, and more. Explore the Paramo's unique flora and landscapes, with a chance to spot the elusive Spectacled Bear. Enjoy a traditional lunch at Casa Antisanilla before returning to Quito in the afternoon
