I recently completed the14-day tour to the Andes, Amazon, and Galapagos and overall, had a positive experience. The guides and drivers were excellent – knowledgeable, punctual, and proficient in English. My travel agent, Ronni Morreira, located in Quito, was also exceptional, providing prompt support and assistance via WhatsApp and email throughout the trip. Rita, who took over in person in Galapagos, provided also excellent support. I do have a few suggestions for an even better experience. Firstly, I recommend requesting detailed information about every accommodation throughout the trip. Quality standards varied considerably, and clear expectations would allow to request changes or adjust expectations accordingly. For example, I would advise against staying at Yellow House in Quito. Secondly, the activity descriptions on the website were sometimes inconsistent regarding what was included in the tour versus what was meant for independent exploration. The description for Baños was particularly misleading. I strongly recommend to inquire about each itinerary item. Lastly, I'd like to address a final concern regarding the itinerary for the arrival day in Santa Cruz. The scheduled and prepaid activities for the arrival afternoon were not carried out. I had intentionally booked an early flight to participate, but upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that the remainder of the day was designated as free time. While Rita and Ronni were helpful in resolving the issue, this was an unnecessary inconvenience. I urge revising the itinerary to explicitly state that the arrival day is free for independent activities, rather than listing included options. Given the limited time in the Galapagos, losing a day due to a misunderstanding would have been particularly frustrating, especially as I believed I had paid for included activities for that day

Nosso sonho era conhecer as ilhas de Galápagos e foi realizado graças ao Joseph que fez um roteiro incrível de viagem para nós e nossos amigos. Gracias a la información y consejos de Monica de Responsible travel, hubo una excelente organización desde el aeropuerto de gye donde personas nos esperaban para agilizar el viaje. En Galapagos el crucero fue fantástico. Lo volvería a repetir visitando nuevas islas.

The customer service/advice I received from Responsible Travel is EXCELLENT. They have always been available. Jazmin, my consultant, always answered my questions very quickly, and I had A LOT. Her local knowledge of the region was invaluable, and the key to making my trip an adventure I will never forget!! The guides they put me in contact with were excellent!! I saw so many unique and RARE wildlife in Ecuador, many endemic to their country. It was truly a dream!

Galapagos by la pinta provides an amazing experience for everyone that we have the opportunity to share those wonderful memories in the Galápagos Islands. It all started with the sales person whose name is Monica who detailed everything about the trip with precision.
