How to Help
Río Muchacho is an organic farm and eco-center located on Ecuador’s coast, near Bahía de Caráquez and Canoa. With nearly 30 years of history, this project has become a reference in permaculture, agroecology, environmental education, and sustainable development alongside the local community. After the earthquake, Río Muchacho had to rebuild nearly 80% of its facilities, and later, the challenges of COVID prevented the project from fully recovering. Today, it still needs support to strengthen its educational programs, improve its spaces, and develop new sustainability models. You can help through volunteering, education funds, school supplies, books, materials, and support for projects such as biodigesters, plastic wood, and recycling systems.
