LOCATION
It is located in a protected area comprising approximately . 603,380 ha in the province of Sucumbios. To enter Dolphin Lodge, it is done by river (approximately 2 hours) from a central point (Cuyabeno bridge) and down the river.
ACCESS
- Airway: From Quito Airport, you take a flight to Coca Airport (Napo); approximately 40 min. Afterwards, there is a transfer by car with an approximate duration of 3h40 to the Cuyabeno bridge. Finally, you take the boat to reach the lodge.
- Land route: From the Quitumbe Station (located in the south of the city), you take the Putumayo company bus. The transfer to the Cuubeno bridge is done at night, and the duration takes approximately 8 hours. Later, you travel by boat to the lodge.
ACTIVITIES
Being concentrated in a rainy system (rainforest), the lodge offers several activities to fully enjoy the reserve. This is how its product diversifies depending on the needs of the person.

- Dolphin Lodge, being located within a natural reserve, you can meet different indigenous communities: Sionas, Secoyas, Cofanes, Quichuas, and Shuaras. Each of these carries out activities such as agriculture, fishing, and caya and offers the experiential experience through tourism.
- El Cuyabeno offers a symbiosis of flora and fauna. As for the first, it has around 60 species of orchids. As for fauna, it is estimated that there are around 1,320 species, including birds, mammals, and reptiles.
- As for the climate, the annual temperature is 25 C. On the other hand, there are two dry and wet seasons. The dry season runs from December to March and the wet season from April to July.
