In Medellín, flowers serve as more than mere decoration; they embody a vibrant heritage. Each August, the city comes alive with vibrant colors, lively rhythms, and cherished traditions at the Feria de las Flores. This festival brings together locals and visitors alike, celebrating culture, music, and community in a joyful atmosphere.
The 2025 edition, taking place from August 1 to 10, showcased dazzling parades, unforgettable nights of live music, and celebrated the deeply rooted Silletero tradition from Santa Elena. More than just petals and pageantry, it reinforced Medellín’s status as one of Latin America’s most dynamic cultural capitals.
