Tour Overview

This Cuyabeno Amazon Rainforest Expedition is a remote Amazon trip through one of Ecuador’s most biodiverse wetland regions, shaped by rivers, lagoons, flooded forest, and Siona territory. This Cuyabeno tour navigates the Aguarico, Cuyabeno, and Lagartococha waterways with naturalist and Indigenous Siona guides, offering close encounters with river dolphins, turtles, caimans, monkeys, birds, and other wildlife across aquatic and rainforest ecosystems. This travel experience also includes canoe excursions, rainforest hikes, birdwatching, and night walks, while revealing palms, bromeliads, ceibo trees, heliconias, orchids, and other Amazon flora. Designed for both curious travelers and nature-focused explorers, the journey offers a rare and rewarding way to discover the Ecuadorian Amazon.
