CRUISE OVERVIEW

Swim alongside playful sea lions and massive schools of hammerhead sharks as you explore the legendary Darwin and Wolf Islands on an unforgettable Galápagos liveaboard diving adventure.

In 2016, Ecuador established a marine sanctuary around Darwin and Wolf, protecting more than 15,000 square miles from fishing activities. This conservation effort was created to safeguard the region’s thriving shark populations and the delicate marine ecosystem they depend on. Today, 32% of the waters surrounding the Galápagos Islands are protected marine reserves.

Our Galápagos liveaboard diving expeditions, offered since 1993, follow a carefully designed itinerary approved by the Galápagos National Park authorities, ensuring compliance with strict environmental regulations.

Trips operate from Thursday to Thursday and include up to four dives per day — two in the morning and two in the afternoon — as well as two land excursions each week.

Dive depths range from 40 to 130 feet (12 to 40 meters).

From June through November, water temperatures average between 60°F and 75°F (16°C to 24°C), bringing cooler conditions and excellent opportunities to encounter whale sharks.

From December through May, temperatures range from 70°F to 86°F (21°C to 30°C), with warmer, clearer waters and spectacular sightings of schools of hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and eagle rays.

A 5 to 7 mm wetsuit is recommended for most dives. Exact seasonal water temperatures can be found in the captain’s logs.

All dives are conducted from two 8 x 20-foot inflatable tenders. Please note that night diving is not available aboard the vessel.
