Nearby, see La Rotonda, the monument commemorating the historic 1822 meeting between Simón Bolívar and José de San Martín. Finish in Las Peñas, the colorful historic quarter on Cerro Santa Ana. Climb its 444 steps past brightly painted wooden houses, bars, and small shops to reach the lighthouse and panoramic lookout.
