Waterfall Exploration
There is a trail that crosses the jungle that will take you to some impressive waterfalls just 15 minutes from the lodge, some like the “Cara del Diablo” and “Pinpilala” waterfalls, the tour ends visiting the incredible canyon known as “Lago Secreto” (Secret Lake). These tourist attractions are surrounded by rocks, trees, caves and different types of bird species, undoubtedly a different and exciting experience.
Jumandy Caves
Another popular activity offered by the lodge is the visit to the well known Jumandy Caves, a place full of history, named after a brave indigenous warrior who fought against Spanish conquistadors. Discover the interesting world of stalagmites and stalactites in the company of expert guides who ensure that you know all the important facts about the place and of course in complete safety.
Cocoa Experience
Visit a fine aroma cacao farm to discover the secrets and the whole process that goes into making Ecuadorian chocolate. The activity will allow you to understand about the cultivation and treatment of cocoa, from the harvesting of the crop to the elaboration of tasty handmade chocolates. At the end of the activity you will enjoy a chocolate tasting and also the purchase of local products as souvenirs.
Exploration of the Napo River
It consists of a 45 minute trip to the imposing Napo River, where the journey will begin with a quiet canoe ride and then a short walk to observe an incredible giant ceibo tree. Then the tour continues with an exciting tubing down the river where you will be able to observe wild species of the jungle such as birds, monkeys and other animals on the banks. The final part of the activity ends with a visit to the caiman lagoon.
