A trip to the Galapagos islands is an unforgettable experience, apart from the main islands you can discover uninhabited islands. Although relatively close to one another, each island has their unique species of flora and fauna plus incredible landscapes. Some with sandy beaches, others with a volcanic landscape reminding of the moon’s surface, each island is simply surprising.

MARINE WILDLIFE
If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, in the deep waters you’ll find much more diversity including sea turtles, dolphins and even sharks! The most common shark is the reef shark, it is inoffensive and small to medium in size.
In the most remote islands you can also find the endemic Galapagos shark, a species of requiem shark, even hammerhead sharks and the spectacular whale shark.
Other marine life found are playful sea lions or the Galapagos, penguins that might come and play with you while you swim or even massive manta rays and whales.

BEST TIME TO VISIT THE ENCHANTED ISLANDS
Blessed with a pleasant weather all year round it can be visited all year long. The warmest weather is between December to May, with the sky clear and the sun shining strongly.
Still, if you want to explore the amazing underwater world of the islands, the best time to visit Galapagos is from June to November.
During this season the weather is a little fresh but it gives you the best chance to meet with the inhabitants of Galapagos famous marine reserve.
