One of the aspects to consider when embarking on a trip is the sustainability of the destination. This translates to the importance of protecting nature and its surrounding environment. In this case, the indigenous communities of the Ecuadorian Amazon have faced several challenges ranging from undergoing a transformation through the transglobalization of oil (1967) to the new current models (social, cultural, and technological). That, without a doubt, for our country marks a before and after to strengthen the activity of generating sustainable ecotourism.
